Cardano News - Blockworks Adds Cardano to Institutional Research Analytics Platform

Blockworks has expanded its institutional research analytics platform to include Cardano, placing the network inside a data environment built for comparing major blockchains and crypto protocols. The update gives analysts a dedicated Cardano page with dashboards for on-chain activity, financial metrics, staking, stablecoins and governance.

Cardano Enters Blockworks Research Coverage

Blockworks now lists Cardano among the networks covered by its analytics platform. The dedicated Cardano section includes public dashboard categories for Overview, Financials, Activity, Staking, Stablecoins and Governance.

The update was highlighted on June 30 by Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz, who listed Cardano among the networks and protocols now included in Blockworks data coverage. For ADA, the development does not change the underlying protocol, transaction model or staking system. It changes where professional analysts can access and compare Cardano data.

Blockworks has built its research business around on-chain data, governance tracking, protocol financials and institutional crypto analysis. Its analytics product is designed to give users a single research environment for blockchain metrics, protocol comparisons and financial analysis across the digital asset market.

Institutional Analytics Add a New Layer for Cardano

Institutional crypto research depends on standardized categories. Funds, analysts and research desks often compare networks by transaction activity, fees, staking structure, stablecoin liquidity, governance participation and protocol-level economics. Cardano already has native explorers and ecosystem dashboards, but Blockworks adds a separate research layer by placing those metrics inside a broader cross-chain analytics platform.

The Cardano Overview dashboard includes network REV, transaction count, stablecoin supply and on-chain governance activity. The Staking section covers stake rate, active pools, staking rewards and supply distribution. The Financials section connects Cardano network usage to transaction fees, paid failure collateral and income statement style metrics.

That structure is relevant for Cardano because its architecture differs from account-based chains. The network uses an extended UTXO model, Plutus smart contract execution and collateral mechanics, which require analytics that can separate regular transaction activity from script usage, fees and execution-related data. Blockworks gives researchers a standardized entry point for reviewing those areas without relying only on Cardano-specific tools.

ADA Data Moves Into a Broader Research Stack

The Blockworks update arrives during a period of wider institutional and infrastructure attention around Cardano. Clearstream recently added ADA to its MiCA-regulated custody offering, while development across the ecosystem has continued around Leios, Hydra, RealFi, governance and stablecoin infrastructure.

The Blockworks integration fits a different part of that institutional picture. Custody gives regulated entities a way to hold assets. Analytics gives research teams a structured way to evaluate networks before allocating attention, capital or coverage. Cardano now has a dedicated Blockworks analytics surface where network activity can be reviewed next to other major crypto networks through the same research interface.

Some expanded charts, exports and detailed metrics remain behind a Blockworks Research subscription. The public Cardano pages still show the structure of the coverage and the categories Blockworks is tracking. The operational change is clear: ADA network data, staking behavior, governance activity and protocol financials are now available through a recognized third-party analytics platform built for institutional research workflows.
