Hoskinson Renews Call for Gemini to List Cardano
Tyler Winklevoss previously described Cardano as viable for listing and said Gemini would look into it. Hoskinson’s latest request came as the exchange celebrated its 11th anniversary.

Charles Hoskinson renewed his call for Gemini to list Cardano on October 6, replying to exchange co-founder Tyler Winklevoss on X. His message, “List ADA,” followed Winklevoss’s repost of Gemini’s anniversary announcement.
Gemini’s Anniversary Prompts Another Request
Gemini marked its 11th anniversary on October 5 with a message that the company was still building. Winklevoss shared the announcement with birthday emojis, and Hoskinson replied the following morning.
The exchange identifies October 5, 2015, as its official launch date in earlier company announcements. Hoskinson’s latest reply contained only the listing request, without a proposed timeline or further details.
Winklevoss Previously Agreed to Consider Cardano
Winklevoss publicly addressed a previous listing request from Hoskinson on March 3, 2025.
“I do think it is viable for listing on @Gemini. We will look into this,” Winklevoss wrote.
His response came during a debate about government crypto reserves. Winklevoss distinguished his opposition to including Cardano in a strategic reserve from its suitability for trading on Gemini.
The statement expressed willingness to consider a listing. It did not announce an approval, an integration schedule, or a trading launch date.
Cardano Remains Absent From Gemini’s Trading List
Gemini’s official list of supported trading assets includes Solana, Avalanche, Polkadot, Cosmos, and Tezos. ADA remains absent.
The exchange’s Asset Listing Hub describes a process involving an application, an initial review, and technical, legal, and compliance assessments. Approved assets then proceed through integration before Gemini announces their availability. Those general requirements do not explain Cardano’s omission.
As of October 6, 2026, Cardano was still missing from Gemini’s official trading list, nineteen months after Winklevoss said the exchange would consider adding it
