Input Output is building its own supercomputer for artificial intelligence and cybersecurity applications, Angry Crypto Show reported in a video update. The presenter attributed the announcement to company founder Charles Hoskinson, who described plans to combine locally operated models with external AI services.
The project adds to Hoskinson’s recent discussions about AI infrastructure, including a separate proposal for security audits of Cardano code and his vision for private agents connected to Midnight.
Local Models and External AI Providers
According to Angry Crypto Show, the supercomputer is being constructed to run cybersecurity models and local software models. Hoskinson also described combining those capabilities with services from leading AI providers, while keeping the method behind that combination undisclosed.
The presenter reported that Hoskinson expects an announcement shortly and believes the project could reach the market in months rather than years. The video did not include a specific release date or identify the hardware and models involved.
Nightframes and Private AI Agents
Earlier in October, Hoskinson presented Nightframes at Midnight City in Tokyo as a concept for private, context-aware computing. His presentation described AI agents that could act on a user’s behalf while taking their intentions and personal context into account.
Midnight’s October network update described Nightframes as a potential successor to standard smart contracts. The update also outlined Midnight City as an environment for testing autonomous agents in trading, identity, and commerce. Nightframes and the supercomputer were presented separately, with no integration between them identified in the video report.

A Separate Proposal for Cardano Security
In an October 18 post on X, Hoskinson also proposed building a reference computing cluster for cybersecurity. He suggested that teams developing Cardano nodes could obtain similar systems with support from the Cardano Treasury.
The proposed equipment would be used for continuous security audits of critical Cardano code. Hoskinson presented Treasury funding as a recommendation for the following year.
