L4VA and Toto Finance Launch Tokenized Silver Vault on Cardano
The new L4VA vault gives Cardano users fractionalized exposure to physical silver, combining tokenized real-world assets with on-chain vault and liquidity infrastructure.

L4VA Protocol and Toto Finance have launched the Toto Finance Silver Vault on Cardano mainnet, adding another commodity-backed real-world asset product to the network. The vault contains Toto Finance Silver 1oz NFTs, each representing one ounce of physical silver according to the project, while TSLVR provides proportional economic exposure to the assets held inside the vault.
The product went live on August 13 and has already recorded its first on-chain activity.
TSLVR Fractionalizes a Physical Silver Vault
The structure differs from a conventional fungible token directly mapped one-to-one to an ounce of silver.
Toto Finance provides the underlying Silver 1oz NFTs and physical-asset infrastructure, while L4VA supplies the on-chain vault and fractionalization layer. Users acquire TSLVR as exposure to the combined silver assets held within the vault.
L4VA also provides the infrastructure intended to connect the vault with decentralized liquidity pools, creating a market layer around the underlying tokenized commodity.
According to project documentation, custody is handled through TotoHolding AG in Liechtenstein. Toto Finance says its physical assets are insured through Lloyd’s of London and held under regulated custody arrangements with independent third-party validation. A specific third-party vault operator and a public audit covering the silver in this individual vault have not been disclosed.
Silver Vault Records First Cardano Mainnet Activity
The L4VA application showed 13 holders and approximately ₳11,780 in total value locked on August 15, providing an early snapshot of activity following the launch.
The vault was listed as locked after its initial acquisition opportunity, which L4VA said had sold out. The protocol has also published the vault’s Cardano policy identifier, giving the product a verifiable on-chain footprint.
Public documentation does not currently provide a TSLVR-specific physical redemption framework covering minimum amounts, fees, KYC requirements or geographic restrictions. Toto Finance describes its broader physical-asset model as redeemable and based on regulated custody, but those terms have not been separately detailed for this vault.
The live product combines physical silver represented through Toto Finance NFTs with a Cardano-native fractionalization and liquidity layer provided by L4VA.
Tokenized Silver Already Has History on Cardano
TSLVR is not the first silver-backed asset deployed on Cardano.
Finest launched fSLVR in 2025, with each token representing 100 grams of silver held through pro aurum GmbH in Germany. That product also included a physical redemption process for eligible users.
The L4VA vault uses a different structure, placing one-ounce silver NFTs inside a vault and fractionalizing exposure to the combined holdings through TSLVR.
L4VA and Toto Finance have announced plans for additional physical silver vaults, broader precious-metal offerings and other commodity-backed products. Cardano is being used as the initial network for the rollout before planned expansion to other blockchains.
The Silver Vault therefore gives L4VA a live implementation of its commodity vault model on Cardano. The next announced phase is to apply the same structure to additional silver holdings and a wider range of physically backed commodities.
