Cardano News - Jenny Brito Steps Back From Cardano Over Coffee After Years of Community Work

Jenny Brito, a long-time host and organizer connected to Cardano Over Coffee, announced on X that she is stepping back from her daily operational role in the community format. In her post, Brito said that after years of dedication, she is stepping back from Cardano Over Coffee and will continue hosting until July 8.

The announcement was connected to a Cardano Over Coffee “Jenny Banter” Space, where Brito explained how her role in the show developed, what the space became for the community and why she is now handing more responsibility to the team. The conversation also moved into broader topics around community sustainability, accountability for initiatives building on Cardano and the need for more mentorship across the ecosystem.

Jenny Brito Marks a Transition at Cardano Over Coffee

Brito said Cardano Over Coffee was not something she originally expected to help lead. In her X post, she wrote that the space became something she did not fully expect when she first stepped in years ago to help keep it alive, adding that the early mornings, conversations, guests and unseen work became one of the things she is most proud of.

During the Space, Brito said she was not part of the original Cardano Over Coffee plan. She first joined as a regular community participant, later taking on scheduling, guest booking and coordination when the existing team needed support. That work developed into a regular role in keeping the format active.

Brito framed the move as a personal transition rather than a departure from Cardano. She said she is entering a period focused on personal growth, her own ideas and projects that had been set aside during years of daily work on the show.

Cardano Over Coffee Continues as a Community-Led Space

Cardano Over Coffee was described throughout the discussion as one of the long-running community spaces in the Cardano ecosystem. Participants spoke about years of regular shows, conversations with builders, internal preparation and volunteer work that helped the format remain active through different market conditions.

In her X post, Brito wrote that people come and go, but “the cup keeps showing up.” In the Space, that message was connected to the idea that a community format should not depend on one person if it is built to continue over time.

Several participants thanked Brito for work that was not always visible during public broadcasts, including guest preparation, schedule coordination and helping maintain a setting where new community members could join the discussion. In that part of the conversation, Cardano Over Coffee was presented not only as an X Space, but as a recurring meeting point for people following, building in or learning about Cardano

Discussion Moves to Accountability, Mentorship and Ecosystem Maturity

After Brito’s announcement, the conversation moved into how Cardano treats initiatives that seek users, support or funding. Brito spoke about the need to increasingly view projects as business efforts, with clearer expectations around responsibility, sustainability and reporting.

The discussion also touched on treasury funding, KPIs, transparency and the difficulty of assessing tools and services that are useful to the ecosystem but struggle to find sustainable business models. Participants said Cardano is entering a phase where volunteer work, community spaces and funded initiatives require clearer structures.

Mentorship was another part of the discussion. Brito and other participants said workshops and educational calls have value, but builders often need practical support from people with experience in product development, community operations or business management.

After July 8, Cardano Over Coffee enters a new organizational phase. Brito remains connected to the community, while the daily rhythm of the show will depend more directly on the team, new volunteers and people using the space to present their work, speak with the Cardano community and keep the format active after years of regular presence.
