Cardano News - ESCO Plans BETTER web3 Beta for 1,000 Users

Joseph Escobar, known as ESCO, is preparing a controlled beta release of BETTER web3 after completing the Draper University Genesis Pre-Accelerator.

The Cardano (ADA) ecosystem project is developing a customer acquisition platform for blockchain companies, with another product and security review planned before users receive access.

BETTER web3 Prepares Its First Limited Beta

Speaking during the Da’ Waffle House X Space on September 10, Escobar described the planned release as a stealth beta rather than a full public launch.

Access would close when 1,000 users join or when the 72-hour testing period ends, whichever happens first. Escobar indicated that the window could run from Thursday through Saturday, although an exact date has not been announced.

The limited format is intended to give the team a manageable group of early users and generate feedback before a broader release.

BETTER web3 is designed to help blockchain companies identify potential users, distribute products and connect platform activity with measurable campaign outcomes. Escobar said the platform would include incentives for users who complete selected activities.

The reward structure, participation requirements and functions included in the beta have not yet been disclosed.

Draper Genesis Refined BETTER’s Market Position

The beta plan follows Escobar’s participation in the four-week Genesis Pre-Accelerator at Draper University in San Mateo, California.

The program brought Cardano founders together with mentors, operators and investors to work on product validation, customer profiles, fundraising preparation and go-to-market strategy. It concluded with project presentations to a panel that included Tim Draper and representatives connected with the Cardano Foundation and Orion Fund.

Escobar said the program required him to define more clearly who BETTER is being built for and which commercial problem it addresses. The work included refining the platform’s ideal customer profile, product presentation and communication strategy.

His pitch positioned customer acquisition as a challenge extending beyond an individual blockchain community. BETTER is being developed within the ADA ecosystem, but its target market includes companies operating across the wider Web3 industry.

Escobar continued polishing the platform after returning from the program. No individual Draper or Orion Fund investment in BETTER was announced following the Genesis presentations.

AI and Crypto Influence BETTER’s Development

Escobar also linked his Silicon Valley experience to the venture capital market’s growing focus on artificial intelligence.

He identified AI agents, payments and stablecoins as areas where blockchain knowledge can support new products. Escobar said this overlap would be reflected in BETTER, although he did not disclose a specific AI feature or integration planned for the initial beta.

The project is now moving from accelerator work and internal development toward controlled testing with real users.

BETTER’s next operational step is to complete the security-focused review, open the limited beta and collect feedback from its first user cohort. The opening date, registration process, available features and incentive structure are the remaining details to be published.
