Cardano News - Crypto Crow Discusses Cardano and Midnight, Outlines Zippy AI Robot Plans

Crypto Crow outlined plans for an AI robot called Zippy and regular AlphaGrowth updates during an October 28 AMA with his community. The conversation ranged from Cardano and Midnight to the responsibilities of crypto creators and the projects he is developing. Setting aside his usual chart analysis, Crow spent the broadcast answering viewers’ questions and explaining the thinking behind his interests and decisions.

Why Midnight Holds Crow’s Attention

Crow’s enthusiasm for Midnight extends beyond NIGHT’s recent price movements. He highlighted selective privacy, shielded transactions, and interoperability as the features driving his interest. In his view, Midnight could provide privacy capabilities to applications across multiple blockchain ecosystems, a role he compared to a VPN serving other networks.

He connected that outlook to Cardano’s earlier development, recalling the interest and price appreciation ADA attracted before smart contracts became available. Crow contrasted that period with Midnight’s combination of smart contracts, zero-knowledge proofs, and selective privacy. He sees those capabilities, together with what he considers stronger token economics, as reasons for expecting substantial growth.

His interest in Midnight has not eliminated his confidence in Cardano. Crow acknowledged that years of watching ADA’s price have become tiring, but he still expects periods of stronger performance. He also distanced himself from his previous $8 Cardano prediction, explaining that he no longer sees how that target would be reached. Leios and Hydra remain among the development efforts he cites when discussing Cardano’s technical foundations.

Crow also offered his assessment of Charles Hoskinson’s recent approach. He described the Cardano founder as more focused on building, sharing results, and encouraging cooperation. In Crow’s view, Midnight gives Hoskinson and his team greater scope to pursue their plans. He contrasted that environment with his frustration over disagreements and organizational relationships within Cardano.

Creator Responsibility and Wallet Security

A viewer’s comment about losses in crypto projects prompted Crow to distinguish unsuccessful investments from deliberate misconduct. He argued that a creator can research a project, believe in its team and technology, and discuss it publicly without the project ultimately delivering the expected outcome. Failure alone, in his assessment, does not establish that everyone involved acted dishonestly.

Crow included his own experience in that discussion. Since entering the space in 2017, he has supported projects whose ambitions he considered credible, while learning that strong expectations do not always translate into results. He also criticized creators who repeat other people’s material without understanding it sufficiently, particularly when confidence in their presentation exceeds their knowledge.

He drew a sharper line around creators who receive free or heavily discounted tokens before public access, promote those assets, and then sell while encouraging their audience to buy. Crow identified that deliberate use of an audience as buyers for a creator’s own holdings as a reason to stop trusting or following them.

Questions about asset storage brought the conversation to personal security. Crow advocated separating long-term holdings from funds used to experiment with applications. For smart contract interactions, he described creating a separate wallet and transferring only the amount required, with an allowance for transaction fees.

“Don’t use your main wallet for everything,” he told viewers. He also urged them to avoid keeping substantial holdings in the same computing environment used for everyday browsing, checking email, and trying unfamiliar decentralized finance applications.

AlphaGrowth Updates, Games, and Zippy’s First Build

Crow plans to make AlphaGrowth coverage a recurring feature on his channel. He expects to receive a steady flow of updates about its activities and anticipates expanding that coverage within roughly a week of the broadcast.

He also discussed SongMarketCap’s Midnight news section, which he had shared on X. Crow explained that audible website alerts had previously discouraged him from using the site. After he contacted the team, a message during the AMA confirmed that the alerts had been removed. He thanked the team and indicated that he could resume covering the material.

The exchanges included viewers who recalled watching his Cardano videos in 2017. Reflecting on the names he recognizes in chat, Crow told his audience:

“A lot of you guys are extended family, whether you realize it or not.”

Among his own projects, Crow disclosed that he had started designing a game intended to use his Bolts token. He paused that work to investigate the legal implications of incorporating the token. He emphasized that it is separate from Billy Bolts Adventure, which is still awaiting Steam approval. Although he could release that game elsewhere, he prefers to coordinate availability across platforms.

Zippy represents another project from the Billy Bolts universe. Crow plans to build the robot using 3D-printed parts and a Mac mini, with voice interaction and the ability to operate a computer. Tasks he wants it to handle include creating social media content and scheduling posts.

He expects to use Claude for the initial version. A more advanced future version would run local AI models, reflecting his ambition to build a more self-reliant system connected to other devices. He linked that later development to how the next year or two unfolds.

Crow intends to show Zippy to his audience once the first version is assembled. At the time of the AMA, he was waiting for his new 3D printer to arrive before beginning the build.
