The Cardano Foundation has presented an initial global events strategy covering 11 major conferences throughout 2027. The proposed program would extend across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.
Each activation would feature a unified Cardano booth, international media outreach and opportunities for ecosystem projects to present their products.
External execution costs would be capped at $5 million, with funding expected to come from the ADA-denominated Cardano Treasury.
Cardano Targets 11 International Conferences
The proposed calendar begins with the Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi in February, followed by the Digital Asset Summit in New York in March. The Asian schedule includes either the TEAMZ Web3/AI Summit or WebX Asia in Tokyo, Money20/20 Asia in Bangkok and TOKEN2049 in Singapore.
The list also includes Consensus Miami, Signal Week in Paris, Rare Evo and Dev Gov Day in Las Vegas, LABITCONF in Buenos Aires, the Australian Crypto Convention in Sydney and India Blockchain Week in Bangalore.
Each event would use a consistent Cardano identity supported by media campaigns and potential speaking opportunities. Projects could apply to demonstrate their products and meet prospective partners.
The Cardano Foundation would hold overall responsibility for delivery, performance measurement and Treasury reporting, with local ecosystem partners and ambassadors supporting individual activations.
Previous Program Featured 79 Cardano Projects
The strategy follows a Treasury-funded events series delivered by the Cardano Foundation, EMURGO and Rare Network between August 2025 and July 2026.
That program included 20 event experiences across four continents and provided exhibition opportunities for 79 Cardano projects.
According to the Foundation’s final figures, the booths generated 8,191 contacts and attracted 1,169 developers. Organizers also reported engagement with 50 government and regulatory authorities, 143 companies and 26 academic institutions.
The campaign produced 27 keynote or panel appearances, 147 published articles and broadcast interviews, and 56 workshops and builder presentations. It also recorded 1,045 Cardano wallet sign-ups and 1,244 new Cardano Academy subscribers.
Paris produced the highest concentration of developers, who represented 54% of booth visitors. Increased developer attendance was also reported in Rio de Janeiro, Nairobi and Hong Kong.

Why a Global Events Program Matters for Cardano
A coordinated presence would give smaller Cardano projects access to conferences where independent booths, international travel and promotional campaigns may be beyond their available resources. It would place their products directly in front of developers, companies, investors and institutions while expanding Cardano’s representation beyond its largest organizations.
The program is aligned with the Cardano 2030 strategy, particularly its focus on ecosystem growth through localized partnerships in Latin America, Africa and East Asia. A unified calendar would replace disconnected appearances with a repeatable annual program supported by centralized accountability and reporting.
The Cardano Foundation said external costs would remain within the $5 million limit and that it would not generate a profit from the proposal. Event-level budgets, builder travel support, performance targets, withdrawal mechanics and the requested amount in ADA will be included in the full submission.
The Foundation is collecting community feedback before finalizing the proposal and beginning the Treasury withdrawal process, subject to net change limit availability. If it moves forward, the Africa Tech Summit on February 10 and 11 would open a global distribution program designed to connect Cardano products with markets that individual teams may struggle to reach alone.
