Midnight News - Crypto Crow Reports NIGHT Outperformed 48 of 50 Major Coins Over 30 Days

Crypto Crow has reported that NIGHT rose 6.8% over a 30-day period in which most assets in his comparison group lost value. In a new video, he examined the token’s performance alongside Midnight’s plans for private transactions across blockchain networks.

The creator disclosed that NIGHT is one of his largest holdings. His discussion covered an Ethereum demonstration built with Sig Network, a planned TRON integration, and the relationship he sees between network activity and demand for Midnight’s token.

NIGHT’s Performance Against Major Cryptocurrencies

Crow compared NIGHT with 50 large cryptocurrencies, excluding stablecoins and tokenized funds. He used the median return of that group to assess how the token performed against a typical asset in his sample.

In the 30-day period covered by the video, NIGHT gained 6.8%, while the group’s median fell 17.5%, according to his analysis. Crow calculated that NIGHT outperformed 48 of the 50 assets, with Monero and PEPE recording stronger returns.

For the same period, he reported declines of 8.5% for Bitcoin, 16.4% for Ethereum, and 18.8% for Solana. During the seven-day period that included the market response to the Binance security incident, NIGHT rose 12.7%, while the median asset in the comparison fell 2.5%.

Crow also presented a 24-hour gain of 6.1% for NIGHT against a median increase of 1.4%. Over 14 days, he reported a 1.2% gain for the token and a 5.3% decline for the median asset.

The figures represent the time windows used in Crow’s video rather than current returns. For his market capitalization reference, he cited CoinGecko data from October 31, placing NIGHT at approximately $690 million and number 89 in the rankings.

Nightmode Links Midnight Privacy to Ethereum Applications

Crow connected his market analysis to Nightmode, an infrastructure project that uses Sig Network’s signing technology to link Midnight contracts with accounts on other blockchains.

The Ethereum connection is running in a demonstration on Midnight Stagenet, a testing environment. The demo supports deposits, swaps on Uniswap, supplying assets to Aave, and withdrawals to Ethereum addresses.

Under the design described by Midnight and Sig Network, assets remain on Ethereum in an account controlled through a Midnight contract. A threshold of independent signers produces the signature needed to execute an approved Ethereum transaction. This allows an application to use existing Ethereum liquidity while keeping individual user records shielded on Midnight.

The public part of the transaction remains visible. Ethereum observers can see amounts and timing, while the system is designed to protect the identities and individual balances behind the account. Crow also discussed selective disclosure, which allows specified information to be shared with authorized parties.

He used stablecoin payments to contractors as an example of why a business might seek privacy. On a public ledger, transactions can expose information about a company’s payments and wallet activity. Nightmode’s proposed payment applications are intended to let users protect selected details while retaining access to another network.

Crow tied that potential activity to Midnight’s economic model. NIGHT generates DUST, the resource used to process transactions on the network. He argued that greater use of private applications could increase the need for DUST and give users another reason to hold NIGHT. He presented that connection as part of his own assessment of the token.

TRON and Mainnet Plans Remain Development Milestones

Sig Network’s roadmap lists TRON as the next target after the Ethereum demonstration, with deployment planned for December 2026. Crow focused on the potential for private payments on the network, which is widely used for stablecoin transfers.

He also referred to development involving Solana and to broader discussions of Bitcoin and XRP. Those networks are at different stages of planning or development; the existing Ethereum demonstration does not establish the same level of availability for each one.

The Ethereum demonstration’s move to Midnight mainnet depends on Ledger v9, according to Sig Network’s published roadmap. Crow identified that upgrade, the TRON target, and Monument Bank’s planned tokenized deposit launch as milestones in his assessment of Midnight.

The video also presented figures for network activity. Crow reported that daily transactions rose from 128 on September 27 to 47,714 on October 26, and that cumulative mainnet transactions had passed one million. Those counts measure transactions and do not establish how many individual users generated them.

Crow further referenced Monument Bank’s plan for up to £250 million in tokenized deposits on Midnight and its November launch target. For Nightmode, Sig Network’s currently listed Ethereum operations remain available on Stagenet, with mainnet deployment tied to Ledger v9.
