Cardano News - WingRiders Publish Cardano Implementation for Open Wallet Standard

WingRiders don publish two development branches wey connect Cardano keys, addresses and transactions with the Open Wallet Standard. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson highlight the work for one video on wallet security and agentic custody.

Cardano Modules Add Keys and Transaction Signing

The public WingRiders fork include the cardano-public and cardano-multiple-rpc-providers-public branches.

The implementation use Cardano’s CIP-1852 derivation standard for payment and stake keys, generate Shelley Bech32 addresses and include configurations for mainnet, Preprod and Preview.

Im signer support messages and prepared transactions wey involve ADA and Cardano native assets. One network layer fit retrieve transaction data from multiple RPC providers, allowing the OWS policy engine to inspect inputs and transaction effects before signing.

WingRiders dey operate one Cardano decentralized exchange wey users fit take swap tokens, provide liquidity and access DeFi products. The OWS implementation extend their development enter wallet infrastructure for automated applications.

OWS Controls Wallet Access for AI Agents

The Open Wallet Standard provide one common interface for applications, development tools and AI agents wey need blockchain wallet access.

Private keys remain encrypted for the user device. Agents connect through scoped credentials, while one policy engine dey check rules like permitted networks, spending limits and approved destinations before e authorize signature.

OWS fit dey accessed through command-line tools, SDKs, MCP and REST interfaces. The Cardano modules apply this structure to ADA and native assets without giving any AI agent direct access to the private key.

Cardano Support Await Upstream Release

Cardano no dey currently listed among the supported networks for the main OWS repository, and the WingRiders modules no dey inside im standard installation packages.

Developers fit inspect, test and build the Cardano implementation from the public fork. Wider availability go require upstream review, merge enter the main repository and new package release.

Until then, Cardano support dey publicly testable through WingRiders’ development branches, but e no go dey included when users install OWS through im standard distribution channels.
