Strike Finance has crossed $400 million in cumulative trading volume on its V2 perpetuals platform, marking a new usage milestone for the Cardano-founded DeFi protocol. The team also reported revenue nearing $100,000 and daily activity above 13,000 transactions.
Strike V2 Crosses $400 Million in Trading Volume
Strike reported on September 4 that V2 was approaching both $400 million in trading volume and $100,000 in cumulative revenue. A follow-up update on September 5 confirmed that trading volume had moved beyond the $400 million mark.
Strike Finance provides on-chain perpetual futures, allowing traders to open leveraged long and short positions without relying on a centralized exchange.
The protocol originated in the Cardano ecosystem and has since expanded its perpetuals infrastructure across additional networks. Strike has not published a breakdown showing how much of the reported V2 volume came from Cardano compared with its other supported environments.
The $400 million figure therefore represents activity across Strike V2 rather than Cardano-specific trading volume.
Daily Activity Passes 13,000 Transactions
Strike also reported that V2 is processing more than 13,000 transactions per day.
Transaction activity provides a separate usage measure from notional trading volume, which can increase rapidly through larger leveraged positions. Strike has set a target of reaching 100,000 transactions per day, although the team has not announced a deadline.
Revenue has increased alongside trading activity. Strike said cumulative V2 revenue was approaching $100,000 when it published the latest volume figures.
Together, the three metrics provide a broader view of protocol usage across trading volume, transaction frequency and revenue generation.
Strike Builds Scale in On-Chain Perpetuals
Perpetual futures remain a smaller segment of Cardano DeFi than spot decentralized exchanges and lending protocols, but Strike's latest figures add measurable activity to the ecosystem's derivatives category.
The project's expansion beyond Cardano also changes how its growth should be measured. Platform-wide milestones now reflect activity across multiple environments rather than a single blockchain.
Strike V2 has now surpassed $400 million in cumulative trading volume while processing more than 13,000 transactions per day, with revenue approaching $100,000. Future network-specific data would provide a clearer picture of Cardano's share of that activity as Strike continues operating across multiple chains.
