Cardano News - Eight Ventures Join Cardano Accelerator to Verify Products and Data

The Cardano Foundation has selected eight ventures for the Fall 2026 Cardano Accelerator Program (CAP). Announced on September 21, the cohort brings together teams building ways to check claims about where a product came from, what a measurement records and what evidence supports a dataset.

Cardano Accelerator Sets Two Paths for the Cohort

Five ventures will join Core, which provides technical and business guidance as teams develop their products. Three will join Spotlight, which concentrates on market positioning and connections with enterprises and investors.

CAP includes an in-person kickoff week and a Demo Day scheduled for the first week of February 2027. The Foundation lists a CHF 10,000 contribution per team for defined adoption milestones, subject to program terms.

The Eight Ventures Tackle Different Kinds of Evidence

A product passport gives the first group of projects a direct link to something a customer can hold. Boomtag, in Core, embeds NFC or QR tags in physical goods so owners can open a digital passport. Open Food Chain, in Spotlight, connects scannable passports to supplier records, certificates, supporting evidence and their review status.

Other teams focus on records created as goods move or measurements are taken. Spotlight venture Palmyra traces commodities through supply chains, while AgrowLabs uses CropConnect to record agricultural batches, transfers and sales so regulators can inspect their chain of custody. In Core, Embeddo is developing DecarboChain to measure vehicle emissions and anchor authenticated records on Cardano.

The remaining Core ventures work with information that is harder to see on a product label. VitaLedger uses AI to examine food labels and the evidence behind them, with Cardano supporting independent verification of that evidence. Forg3t Protocol is building tools to remove specified information from AI systems, test the result and document what happened. Adreva matches personalized ads locally on a user’s device, allowing brands to reach relevant consumers without receiving their personal data.

Demo Day Provides the Next Public Checkpoint

The Foundation has grouped these ventures around verification, but their products use different sources of evidence and serve different users. Its announcement identifies the intended applications without publishing a common technical design or comparable deployment figures for all eight teams.

At the February Demo Day, the founders are scheduled to present their work to investors and ecosystem partners. A scanned product passport, an authenticated emissions measurement and a recorded agricultural transfer will give audiences three concrete ways to assess how the cohort is turning claims into records others can inspect.
