Cardano News - Crypto Crow Warns of a Shakeout but Stays Bullish on Cardano

Crypto Crow is closing selected trading positions while retaining his core holdings, including ADA. In “The Price Cascade Begins, then MARS,” the commentator outlined a possible Bitcoin-led decline before a broader recovery, explaining how he is adjusting his trading activity while maintaining confidence in Cardano’s development.

Bitcoin Pullback Scenario Shapes His Trading

Crow compared Bitcoin’s recent chart with a sequence from 2023: a temporary rebound after a decline, another move toward a moving average, and an eventual recovery.

His scenario involves two potential reversals. A brief rally could draw traders into long positions before renewed selling, while a subsequent recovery could catch those who turn bearish late in the decline. He criticized social media posts encouraging larger bullish positions based on the initial rebound.

The timing has become less certain. Crow previously anticipated a possible low around October 12 or 13 but now allows for a longer, less abrupt decline. He characterized it as a local shakeout within an emerging recovery and acknowledged that his interpretation could be wrong.

That outlook informs his use of a sell-only setting on his trading bot. By closing selected positions when opportunities arise, he aims to release capital and preserve funds for purchases if prices fall further.

Programmable Tokens Support His Cardano Thesis

Crow described Cardano’s recent chart as an uptrend, while grounding his longer-term confidence in applications beyond speculative trading. Regulated financial assets feature prominently in that argument.

On October 7, the Cardano Foundation announced that the CIP-0113 programmable token standard was live on mainnet. Issuers of stablecoins, tokenized funds, bonds, and other regulated assets can define rules for their tokens, including identity checks and transfer restrictions.

For Crow, those capabilities give institutions a reason to use Cardano instead of building separate networks. The deployment establishes the functionality behind his argument, with wider institutional adoption still a prospective outcome.

“Cardano wasn't late. I truly believe Cardano is right on time,” he remarked.

Leios and Hydra extend that thesis to network capacity. Leios is being developed to increase throughput on Cardano’s base layer, while Hydra supports fast transactions outside the main chain, with settlement anchored to Cardano.

Crow expects their development to strengthen Cardano’s competitive position against networks that emphasize transaction speed.

Midnight’s Role in His Cardano Outlook

Midnight’s growing visibility prompted a viewer to ask whether holding Cardano still made sense. Crow rejected the suggestion that enthusiasm for the privacy-focused network undermines his Cardano position.

“Cardano is not dead or dying by any stretch,” he responded.

Midnight enables applications to verify information while protecting sensitive underlying data through zero-knowledge technology and selective disclosure.

Crow connected those capabilities to AI agents conducting transactions for users, arguing that their financial activity and links to their owners would increasingly require privacy.

The broadcast also included another commentator’s post suggesting that ADA could disappoint while NIGHT delivered a stronger cycle. Crow expressed agreement with Midnight’s potential, while continuing to describe both projects positively. The specific relative-performance forecast originated in the quoted post.

By the end of the broadcast, Crow’s stated plan remained to retain his core holdings and seek opportunities to add during a correction. “I haven't sold my bags,” he told viewers, separating those holdings from the individual positions being closed through his bot.
