Cardano PRIME Names First Teams for Lending and Liquidity Upgrades
Liqwid, Indigo, Sundae Labs, and Steer feature in the nine-team cohort. The announced work spans new financial products, cross-chain transfers, and shared security reviews, with selected proposals still undergoing Operating Group voting.

Cardano PRIME has introduced its first cohort of nine teams, outlining development plans for lending, trading, liquidity management, and tokenized assets on Cardano.
The AlphaGrowth-operated program named Sundae Labs, Liqwid, Indigo, Steer, VIA Labs, ReBond, and Dial as product builders. Midgard Labs and TxPipe are included as security review providers.
Lending and Liquidity Lead the First Cohort
Liqwid V3 would introduce isolated lending markets, curator tools, and a public software development kit. The proposed structure would allow participants to launch and manage individual lending vaults with separately configured markets.
Indigo’s upgrade package expands control over collateralized debt positions, through which users lock assets to issue synthetic tokens. Planned features include multisignature ownership, delegated permissions, debt redistribution, and support for more collateral types. Indigo also announced plans to let users set interest rates and manage positions collectively as a team or DAO.
Sundae Labs’ work focuses on additional market functions built using SundaeSwap V4 contracts.
Steer’s three projects connect automated liquidity management with infrastructure other protocols could adopt. They include vaults that manage liquidity-provider positions on SundaeSwap V4, a Cardano-native tokenized vault standard, and a framework connecting lending capital with trading liquidity.
The proposed lending-to-DEX integration would make capital available for liquidity provision through dedicated adapters and transaction hooks.
Bridges, Bonds, and Programmable Invoices
VIA Labs’ AnyToAny would combine bridging, swaps, and routing into a single flow for moving assets between Cardano, major EVM networks, and exchanges. The announcement does not specify the complete list of supported networks or venues.
ReBond’s allocation would support its planned Cardano mainnet launch. The project is developing a marketplace for fixed-return bonds, with an initial offering described by PRIME as tokenized medical stop-loss. Its application currently operates on Cardano’s preproduction test network.
Dial is building an open-source programmable invoicing layer. Wallets, DAOs, marketplaces, and software agents would be able to create, verify, and settle invoices on-chain.
For security reviews, PRIME announced an engagement with Midgard Labs and reserved audit capacity from TxPipe. A related proposal describes a shared procurement arrangement, including findings reports and remediation reviews. The audit proposals remain among the items undergoing Operating Group voting.

Grant Voting Remains Open
The public record titled “Cardano PRIME OG: First Wave Grants” contains eight items covering Indigo, Liqwid, Steer’s three projects, and audit services.
As of October 24 at 8:45 a.m. CEST, two of seven eligible members had voted in favor of every item. None had reached the platform’s approval threshold. Voting is scheduled to close on October 31 at 8:07 p.m. CET.
This is an off-chain vote by Operating Group members, with one vote per person. It is separate from Cardano’s stake-weighted on-chain DRep governance.
Sundae Labs, VIA Labs, ReBond, and Dial do not appear in that voting record. The available material does not explain their separate approval process, and individual grant amounts and payments to cohort teams have not been confirmed.
PRIME has scheduled a builder livestream for October 27 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time to present the projects.
