Research Behind Cardano Governance
One example of di speakers’ work na “Rewarding Informed Voting in PoS Governance,” one preprint wey Beccuti and Schneider submit on October 6. E dey examine how reward design fit encourage delegated representatives, or DReps, to put effort to assess proposals and vote based on their informed judgment.
For Cardano, ADA holders fit delegate voting power to DReps, and their decisions fit concern protocol changes and how to allocate ADA from di network treasury.
Di study compare different ways to share limited reward budget and identify conditions wey fit support more effort and more accurate decisions. E still outline one possible implementation path for Cardano, while e acknowledge say better voting results no be guarantee.
Di paper provide context for di researchers’ work. Di opening session agenda wey dem publish cover di broader research program but e no list am as separate presentation.
