Ascend Brings Robinhood Chain and TradingView to Midnight Perps
Ascend Market has added Robinhood Chain funding and TradingView charting to its perpetual trading application. The updates expand access to Ascend Perps while keeping trading, risk management and settlement connected to Midnight’s zero-knowledge infrastructure.

Ascend is one of the first live DeFi applications on Midnight mainnet. The project offers perpetual futures, prediction markets and a spot orderbook DEX, with deposits supported from multiple blockchain ecosystems.
Robinhood Chain Adds a New Funding Route
On September 8, Ascend announced that Robinhood Chain was live on the platform. Users can fund their Ascend accounts with USDG on Robinhood Chain and begin trading perpetuals within minutes, according to the project.
Robinhood Chain is a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum Orbit and Nitro stack. Its ecosystem focuses on tokenized real-world assets, onchain finance and the USDG stablecoin issued through the Global Dollar Network.
For Ascend, the integration adds another source of deposits and liquidity. The project has described each connected network as an additional entry point for capital that can ultimately access markets settled on Midnight. Ascend has not publicly detailed the specific custody or bridging process behind the Robinhood Chain integration, so the confirmed point is that users can fund their accounts with USDG from the network.
TradingView Brings Advanced Charting Into the App
On September 14, Ascend announced an integration with TradingView. The company said traders now have access to TradingView’s advanced charting functionality directly inside the Ascend application.
The update gives users market analysis tools in the same interface where they place trades. This is particularly relevant for a leveraged derivatives platform, where chart interpretation, timing and risk management are closely connected.
Ascend has confirmed the availability of advanced charting within the app. It has not stated that the integration includes TradingView’s full order-routing terminal or that trades can be submitted directly through TradingView. The confirmed improvement is the addition of TradingView charting to the Ascend trading environment.
Midnight Remains the Settlement Layer
Ascend Perps supports BTC and ADA perpetual markets, with leverage of up to 50x for BTC and 10x for ADA. The platform also offers event perpetuals, allowing users to take leveraged positions on changes in the probability of real-world outcomes. A spot orderbook DEX is also live on Midnight mainnet.
The technical model is built around Midnight. Users sign orders with credentials from supported ecosystems, while Ascend’s matching, account, risk and fund-control engines process the activity. Trading, risk, account and settlement logic are enforced within Midnight, and final state changes are verified with zero-knowledge proofs.
Midnight has described Ascend as the project that brought perpetual futures to the protocol for the first time through a verifiable events perpetuals exchange and spot orderbook DEX. Midnight also stated that Ascend’s execution, risk and liquidation logic settle on the network in a way that can be verified without exposing the underlying positions.
Ascend has previously described itself as the first dApp to launch on Midnight mainnet. In August, the project reported that mainnet trading volume had surpassed $1 million.
The new integrations do not change Ascend’s core architecture. They give users another funding route and a more complete charting interface while execution and settlement remain tied to Midnight’s privacy-focused infrastructure.
Because Ascend offers leveraged derivatives, its documentation warns about liquidation risk, while its self-custody model means that a lost seed phrase cannot be recovered.
